The small print
We don’t like rules and regulations, but we need a few in order to keep our rooms up to the high standard which our guests have come to expect. We will always be flexible where we can, so just talk to us if there’s anything here likely to cause a problem.
Arrival
Arrival 4pm or later, please, unless an earlier time has been arranged. (This means someone will be here when you arrive!)
Departure
Please vacate your room by 10.30am on the day of departure, so that cleaning and servicing of the rooms and shopping can be carried out before the next guests arrive.
In between
B&Bs are a little different from hotels and most, like ours, are “one man (woman!) bands”. Shopping, cleaning, and servicing of rooms needs to be carried out while guests are out, and so it is helpful to have from 10.30am-3.30pm to get these things done without disturbing guests, although of course it is not a problem for you to pop in to drop off bags, or collect things from your room.
Smoking
We are a non-smoking household, but an ashtray is kept near the back door, so that you may smoke in the garden.
Pets
Charlie and Poppy, our cats, would rather we did not allow other pets to stay. Sorry!
